| Bereavement Services
are unique to hospice care; they are not provided anywhere
else within the health care delivery system. Hospice encourages
the expression of grief and recognizes cultural variables
in bereavement.
The hospice bereavement program offers bereavement follow-up
to its families for 13 months following a death through support groups, counseling, and workshops for adults, adolescents
and children.
At JACH we understand the unique concerns of those grieving.
Our bereavement support programs help you:
•
Share your grief journey
•
Grow through listening and supporting others
•
Understand normal grief reactions
•
Move through the grief process
•
Begin to heal
